Stats (how do you quantify your awesomeness?): Being kind and helpful to others is awesomeness in my book. I do a lot of charity work when I can so I can help others in need. Just participated in a big charity event and we managed to get $74,000 to help families with children with cancer. This meant a lot to me that I could be able to help out. Now that’s awesome to give and not take!
How did you get started on your current career track?
I started modeling when I was about 22 years old. I got discovered by a photographer who wanted to take my picture. At first I didn’t want to because I was unsure about if I had what it takes to become a model but he convinced me otherwise so I agreed to try it out. The images came out great and I got a lot of positive feedback on them. That inspired me to pursue a career as a model and I got into an agency but after some time I decided to go solo and be my own agent!
What gives me the most satisfaction is to see the finished work. The effort you put into your work is really awarding when you get to see it published and not just get wasted.
What motivates or inspires you in your work?
The people who believes in me inspires me. They make me push that extra mile to get things done. Its a hard business but when you have great people in your life who makes sure you don’t give up on yourself. Well that can’t be anything else but motivating.
Do you have a personal work philosophy?
Why wait and do things tomorrow when you can do them today?!
If you weren’t doing this, what could you see yourself doing?
I would work with animals for sure. I love being around them and taking care of them and I have always wanted to become a veterinarian but right now I am actually looking at working behind the camera on TV and film. So who knows whats gonna happen in the future?
Right now I have tons of interviews for magazines and therefore also a bunch of photo-shoots lined up.
What do you first notice about a guy?
If he is being nice to people around him. If he is being arrogant I am gone.
What gets you interested?
To be honest I don’t really look for anything, I think things comes natural if I should get attracted to anyone. I don’t believe in a dream man because then you will just end up looking for something that you will never find and maybe lose Mr. Right while looking for Mr. Non-Exist!
As long as I am in love and I love him I wont be going anywhere. The magic part staying together is to fight for it. Don’t just give up like I see many people do now a days. It’s a shame. Not many stay together for years and years. Just make sure to remind yourself of the days when you first met, your fist kiss and so on. Keep the sparkle in your relationship.
To stay in shape, what’s your basic diet look like?
I don’t believe in all those diets. I eat what I feel like and it has worked out fine till now. Don’t fix something that aren’t broken. I just don’t eat to much of it and that has worked for me. As long as you get up and about its fine.
What sort of fitness plan, if any, do you follow?
None at all. I go for long walks with my dogs and that’s it.
What are you driving: A Skoda Fabia 1,9 TDI
One thing guys should know when talking to a beautiful woman: I really don’t know. He should just be himself and be nice to any woman he talks to no matter if he thinks she is beautiful or not. Don’t treat people nice just because they are beautiful be nice to everybody or your niceness is worth nothing.
One quirky thing about you that never turns up in interviews: Well I guess I’ve never told that I know quite a lot about birds and as a kid I studied them a lot. So I can name many different species. I also took birds home when I found one who was wounded in the wild. My mom was not always happy about it but she never made me leave it to its own faith because she also loves animals like I do. Green Peace I know 🙂
I am quite the mixed breed as my family comes from most parts of Europe but I am born and raised in Denmark so that would make me Danish. My mother is Slovenian-Italian-German-Austrian and Serbian and my father is Danish-Swedish. So they have both learned me a lot about different cultures and how we are all different yet the same.
What were you like growing up?
Horrible haha. No I was a bit of a tomboy when I was little. My mom always said to me that I should have been a boy cos I always came home very dirty with mud all over and messy hair. I played with cars and not with ponies. It was first when I was about 16 I started to be more like a girl/woman and think more about how I appeared and show interest in boys.
Describe your idea of “heaven on earth.”
Easy. Stop killing each other over stupid things like money and power! Stop the extinction of animals and I would be glad! Peace on earth please. I know this is only something I could dream of because it is never gonna happen. But one is allowed to dream.
What is your definition of “beauty?”
I see beauty everywhere I look. Especially in things with flaws. I see it because it makes it unique and different and thats real beauty. Not something flawless because then it just gets to mainstream and boring. I like if we let age run its course if we talk about us humans. People stress and can’t handle getting older, well let me tell you something. You can not run from age or the fact that this is the way of life and has been from the first day we humans set foot on this earth. Deal with it and you will see beauty just like I do! Such a shame that many don’t see it and only run after the younger perfect look.
